This Friday, May 31, is Farmers Market Week 3 and the OPENING of the Farmers Market Café!
The first Café of the season will be The HAYWARD FAMILY with their delicious golden, crispy Smoked Chicken and Sides - one of the most popular of last year’s Market Cafés! All 3 of the Mascoma-donated tents will be up this week; Blue for Music White for the Café Kitchen Red for the big community eat-in table Dinner will be available to eat on the green or to take home in compostable to-go containers. While you’re there check out the vendors! Listen to the music! Get the kids involved in some fun activities! Agricultural Products: Cheese, honey, maple syrup, eggs, gelato, early season produce, plants, eggs, yogurt, mushrooms, foraged produce, and more! From: Blythedale Farm, Chicken Wiggle Farm, Crossmolina Farm, Sweet Doe Gelato, Littlewood Farm, Patrick’s Poultry, Tamias Wildcrafting, VT Beekeeping Supply, and Whitney Family Farm. Baked Goods and Prepared Foods: Breads (a wide variety), pies (large and small), pasties, brownies, donuts, cakes etc. From: Crossmolina, The Old Farmhouse, Whitney Family Farm, Pies and Dolls, Randi’s Baked Goods, Trukenbrod Mill and Bakery, and who know what other surprises may appear! Crafts:Framed photographs and prints, Therapeutic CBD products, Hand-made baskets, Wooden signs and home décor, Toys, Dolls, Soaps and lotions by, A. Clayton Photography, Green Mountain Kana, Donna’s Baskets, Red Shed Rustic, VT Beekeeping, Pies and Dolls, Lisa’s Lathers. Music: The Chelsea Public School Band followed by Jazz Tweed Kids: Chelsea Public Library will have its weekly Activity Table on the corner of the market across from the library. The NORTH COMMON is hoppin’ this Friday w/ the Opening of the North Common Café (8AM – 2PM) and the Chelsea Arts Walk (6PM – 8PM).
